WAUKESHA, Wis. - The Wisconsin Lutheran College
women's tennis team was defeated by the Carroll University Pioneers
9-0 on Wednesday afternoon in a non-conference match.
The Pioneers won all nine flights in straight sets over the
Warriors. Rachel Wendt (Neenah, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran) and Emily
Georgson (Brookfield, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) each lost their
first of two sets 7-5 at No 1 and No. 5 singles, respectively. It
was the closest the Warriors came to winning a set.
Wisconsin Lutheran (0-3) will compete in the UW-Whitewater
Warkawk Invitational on Saturday beginning at 9 a.m.
