Box score

NEW BERLIN, Wis. - The Wisconsin Lutheran College women's tennis team wrapped up its 2009 home schedule by falling to the Aurora University Spartans 8-1 on Saturday afternoon in a Northern Athletics Conference dual match at the Princeton Club.

Kathryn Hendee (Rockton, Ill./Hononegah), who was responsible for the Warriors' only victory of the match, turned in another strong outing as she defeated Lindsey Coakley at No. 1 singles, 6-4, 7-6. Aurora (10-4, 8-2 NAC) won the remaining flights of singles action.

Hendee and Hannah Tullberg (Milwaukee, Wis./Luther Preparatory) dropped a hard-fought 9-8 decision at No. 1 doubles to AU's Lauren Hastings and Rebecca Papke as the Spartans took all three flights of doubles play.

The Warriors (4-10, 3-6 NAC), who will play their final NAC dual match of the regular season on Tuesday at Concordia University Wisconsin at 4 p.m., conclude regular season action on Wednesday with a non-conference match at UW-Whitewater at 6:30 p.m.
