MILWAUKEE - The Wisconsin Lutheran College
volleyball team swept Carroll University (25-20, 25-21, 25-19) in
its final match of the WLC Invitational Saturday at the REX. The
Warriors (4-2) won three of four matches over the weekend.
Sophomore Jenna Neuberger (Muskego, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran)
record double-double with 11 kills and 11 digs, while setter Leanna
Miller (Muskego, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) had 28 assists in the
three sets along with eight digs.
Freshman Steph Cox (Sheboygan, Wis./Lutheran) had a career-high
11 digs as Robyn Brukardt (Appleton, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran)
added 10.
Rachel Johnson (Milwaukee, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) and Megan
Sankey (Waupun, Wis./Winnebago Lutheran) registered nine digs and
four blocks each against the Pioneers (4-2).
WLC hosts the University of Chicago and No. 3 UW-Oshkosh in a
triangular September 9 at the Recreation Complex.
