Wisconsin Lutheran falls 9-0 at Benedictine

LISLE, Ill. - The Wisconsin Lutheran College women's tennis team fell to the Benedictine University Eagles 9-0 Saturday morning in a Northern Athletics Conference dual match at the BU Tennis Courts.

Benedictine (9-4, 9-1 NAC) won all six singles flights in straight sets before taking each of the three doubles matches. The Warriors closest chance at a win in singles play came at No. 1 where sophomore Kathryn Hendee (Rockton, Ill./Hononegah) dropped a 6-4, 6-2 decision to MaryClare Loughery. Hendee and freshman Lindsay Gauger (Rockford, Mich./Rockford) also fell in a tight contest at No. 1 doubles, 8-5, to Loughery and Tiffany Wakim.

Wisconsin Lutheran (5-10, 4-5 NAC) will take on Aurora University at 2 p.m. Saturday in its final NAC road dual of the season at Waubonsie High School in Aurora, Ill.
