RIVER FOREST, Ill. - The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's soccer team fell to five-time defending Northern Athletics Conference champion Dominican University on Tuesday, 4-0, at DU's West Campus Field.

The Stars (8-1, 3-0 NAC), ranked seventh in latest NSCAA Top 25 poll, opened the scoring 10:08 into play when Ryan Ybarra scored off assists from Andrew Lynch and Lio Tovar for a 1-0 lead.

That would be the only goal of the opening half as Warriors goalkeeper Jon Stewart (Waukesha, Wis./South) made four saves to keep WLC within one goal at halftime.

Dominican would open up the scoring in the second half, scoring three goals on its way to the 4-0 victory.

The Stars first goal of the second half was scored at the 53:05 mark when Lio Tovar found the back of the net. Ybarra then netted his second goal of the contest 11 minutes later, putting Dominican on top 3-0. Freddy Tovar tallied the final goal for the Stars at the 70:39 mark.

The Warriors were outshot in the match, 26-6. Freshman Jake Semmann (Grafton, Wis./Kettle Moraine Lutheran) led the way for the forest green and white with two shots. The six shots attempted by the Warriors were the most since the conference matchup with the Stars began in 2005.

Stewart finished the game with eight saves, while Stars goalie Dan Cimicata stopped three shots. Ryan Roberts had a team-high eight shots for Dominican.

Wisconsin Lutheran (3-5, 0-3 NAC) searches for its first conference victory Saturday when it hosts MSOE (5-4-1, 3-0 NAC). The Homecoming game at Warrior Field is set for a 3:30 p.m. start time.
