Box Score RIVER FOREST, Ill. - Senior Erin Greenfield (Wauwatosa, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) recorded her eighth double-double of the season to lead the Wisconsin Lutheran College volleyball team to a 3-0 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference victory overy Concordia Chicago Friday at Geiseman Gymnasium. WLC improved to an even 3-3 record in NACC play and is 7-19 overall.
The Warriors took the opening set 25-17. WLC hit .375 on its way to an impressive 25-12 win in the second set and swept the match with a 25-20 victory in the third set on a .229 hitting percentage. Wisconsin Lutheran hit .206 for the match.
Greenfield hit .257 for the match with 13 kills and 15 digs. Megan Wierzbicki (Hartford, Wis./Kettle Moraine Lutheran) led WLC with 18 digs and Kayla Ridgeman (Jefferson, Wis./Lakeside Lutheran) posted 11 digs. Alexis Hafemeister (Milwaukee, Wis./Wauwatosa West) dished out 32 assists for the Warriors and added nine digs.
Bianca Gordon paced Concordia Chicago (3-13, 1-4 NACC) with nine kills but the Cougars hit just .057 for the match. Olivia Friedrichs had a team-high 15 digs and Jenna Boggs registered 17 assists and seven digs.
Wisconsin Lutheran (7-19, 3-3 NACC) returns to the court Saturday when it hosts a 12 p.m. NACC match against Concordia Wisconsin (8-15, 2-4 NACC) at the Recreation Complex.
