Box Score MILWAUKEE - Concordia Wisconsin piled up 26 blocks in a strong defensive effort in a 3-1 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference victory over the Wisconsin Lutheran College volleyball team at the Recreation Complex Saturday. The Falcons (9-15, 3-4 NACC) defeated the Warriors (7-20, 3-4 NACC) 25-21, 23-25, 25-18, and 25-22.
Erin Greenfield (Wauwatosa, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) posted her second double-double in as many days for WLC—and ninth of the season—with a match-high 17 kills and 15 digs. Alayna Greenfield (Wauwatosa, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) added 13 kills. Andrea Hafemeister (Milwaukee, Wis./Wauwatosa West) just missed out on a double-double with a match-high 47 assists and nine digs. Kayla Ridgeman (Jefferson, Wis./Lakeside Lutheran) led the Warriors with 25 digs. The Warriors hit .129 for the match.
The Falcons were led by a double-double from Hannah Griffiths, who finished with 15 kills and 13 digs. Three other Falcons had 12 or more digs. Britta Duchow led the Concordia Wisconsin block with nine blocks and chipped in seven kills. The Falcons hit .170 for the match.
The Warriors (7-20, 3-4 NACC) travel to play Dominican (15-9, 4-1 NACC) in a NACC match next Friday at 7 p.m.
