Box Score ROCKFORD, Ill. - Kayla Ridgeman (Jefferson, Wis./Lakeside Lutheran) and Alexis Hafemeister (Milwaukee, Wis./Wauwatosa West) each recorded double-doubles and the Wisconsin Lutheran College volleyball team clinched its fifth straight NACC Tournament berth by virtue of a 3-0 sweep over Rockford Wednesday night at the Seaver Center.
WLC earned its second straight road sweep as it won in three sets over the host Regents by scores of 25-22, 25-21, and 25-13.
Ridgeman finished with 17 assists and 14 digs, while Alexis Hafemeister added 23 assists and 10 digs. Erin Greenfield (Wauwatosa, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) collected a match-high 19 digs. Carly Warner (Clear Lake, Wis./Clear Lake) contributed four blocking assists and one solo block as well defensively.
Offensively, the Warriors posted a .282 attack percentage for the match. Alayna Greenfield (Wauwatosa, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) had a match-best 12 kills, while Linda Kenyon (Stevensville, Mich./Michigan Lutheran) followed with 10 kills on an impressive .474 hitting percentage.
Taylor Rossi registered a double-double with 23 assists and 10 digs for the Regents (3-20, 1-9 NACC). She was one of four to collect double-digit kill totals for the match. However, Rockford did not have a player record more than nine kills.
The Warriors (9-21, 5-5 NACC) will celebrate Senior Day Saturday at 12 p.m. at the Recreation Complex when they host NACC-leading Edgewood (23-6, 10-0 NACC) in their home and conference finale. Live video will be available for the match at wlcsports.com.
