The Warriors finish the season 10-24 overall, while the Stars improved to 22-9.
Dominican defeated the Warriors in three sets for the second time this season by scores of 25-16, 25-17, and 25-21. DU advances to host third-seeded Benedictine Thursday in a semifinal matchup.
Erin Greenfield (Wauwatosa, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) totaled a team-high nine kills for WLC, which hit just .096 for the match. Kelli Johnson (Milwaukee, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) added seven successful attacks. Kayla Ridgeman (Jefferson, Wis./Lakeside Lutheran) was credited with 25 of the team's 31 assists. Megan Wierzbicki (Hartford, Wis./Kettle Moraine Lutheran) collected 14 kills defensively.
Dezelski paced the Stars with 16 kills and 12 digs. Christina Wilson contributed 38 assists. DU posted a .284 hitting percentage for the match.
Wisconsin Lutheran concludes its 2013 season 10-24 overall and 5-6 for seventh place in the NACC. It was the Warriors' fifth straight appearance in the conference tournament.
