Box Score 2 WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. - The Wisconsin Lutheran College women's volleyball team lost 3-1 to Buena Vista before defeating Central 3-0 to split a pair of matches at the IIAC/NACC Challenge Saturday at Just a Game Fieldhouse.
Buena Vista (12-4) defeated the Warriors 25-23, 25-6, 22-25, 25-17. Erin Greenfield (Wauwatosa, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) led WLC with eight kills and added 13 digs. Kayla Ridgeman (Jefferson, Wis./Lakeside Lutheran) recorded a team-high 25 digs. Alexis Hafemeister (Milwaukee, Wis./Wauwatosa West) paced the Warriors with 27 assists.
Maddie Bardole recorded a double-double for the Beavers with 16 kills and 18 digs. Jordan Leehy also registered a double-double with 30 assists and 11 digs.
In its second match of the day, Wisconsin Lutheran (5-17) won 25-20, 25-23, 25-13 over Central (6-11). Hafemeister recorded a double-double with 29 assists and 11 digs. Greenfield had a team-high 14 kills and Ridgeman led the Warriors with 26 digs.
Sara Snead had seven kills and six digs for the Dutch. Dzenita Bahtic registered 15 digs.
The Warriors return to action when they host a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match against Lakeland (11-9, 1-1 NACC) Friday at 7 p.m. at the Recreation Complex.
