Box Score 2 EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - The Wisconsin Lutheran College volleyball team dropped a pair of matches to St. Norbert and Concordia-M'head Friday at the Sandy Schumacher Memorial Tournament hosted by UW-Eau Claire.
WHERE THEY STAND
- The Warriors fell to 0-7, St. Norbert improved to 5-10, and Concordia-M'head up its mark to 5-6 overall.
HOW IT HAPPENEND: WLC vs. SNC
- The Warriors held a slim early lead in the first two sets, but the Green Knights proved to be too much as they defeated the Forest Green and White for the second time this season by set scores of 25-18, 25-22, and 25-9.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE: WLC vs. SNC
- WLC finished with 25 kills and 21 errors for a .048 attack percentage, while SNC had 28 kills and just seven errors for a.309 hitting percentage.
- Haley Feucht (Campbellsport, Wis./Campbellsport) tied for a match-high with 10 kills, and Alexis Hafemeister (Milwaukee, Wis./Wauwatosa West) had 12 of the team's 22 assists.
- Breanne Brocker paced the Green Knights with 10 kills, Kaitlin Delahaut dished out 20 assists, and Hannah Johnshoy and Aubree Antosch tied a match-high with 14 digs apiece.
- St. Norbert collected five solo blocks and 10 assisted blocks. Heidi Spies combined for seven blocks.
HOW IT HAPPENED: WLC vs. CC
- The Cobbers squeaked out first (26-24) and third (25-23) set wins over the Warriors by just two points. WLC collected a 25-19 win in set two, and Concordia took the fourth set 25-20.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE: WLC vs. CC
- Wisconsin Lutheran posted a .038 attack percentage in the match after collecting 27 kills, but was plagued by 23 errors. Concordia hit .237 for the match after tallying 48 kills.
- Feucht registered team highs of nine kills and nine digs. Alexis Hafemeister passed out 19 assists.
- Anna Skow-Anderson and Vanessa Johnson collected 13 and 10 kills, respectively, for the Cobbers. Jena Klaphake tied a match-high with 19 assists, and Alyssa Schmidt had 12 digs.
UP NEXT
- The Warriors play their first home match of the season Wednesday against Benedictine (3-11, 1-0 NACC) at 7 p.m. at the Recreation Complex. The contest against BenU will be the first of five straight home matches for WLC.
