Warriors Fall To NACC-Leading Falcons

WAUWATOSA, Wis. – The Wisconsin Lutheran College women's tennis team suffered a 9-0 defeat to conference-leading Concordia Wisconsin on Friday night at Hart Park.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Falcons opened the match by winning all three doubles matches, but not before Paige Potaracke (La Crosse, Wis./Luther) and Kalyn Geddes (Bend, Ore./Luther Preparatory) took Ashley Solberg and Bailey Kelly to the limit for an 8-6 decision.
  • NACC-leading CUW won all six singles flights in straight sets to remain undefeated atop the conference standings.

UP NEXT

  • WLC continues conference play on Saturday when it travels to Mequon to square off against MSOE (4-9, 4-4 NACC) at 10 a.m. Following that match, they return to Hart Park to face Alverno (7-4, 5-3 NACC) for a 3 p.m. match on Parents'/Alumni Day. The Warriors will clinch a berth in the spring NACC Tournament with a win Saturday.
