RIVER FOREST, Ill. - The Wisconsin Lutheran College women's tennis team collected its third and fourth straight victories Saturday afternoon by defeating Dominican 7-2 and Concordia Chicago 8-1 in its first two conference matches of the season on the road.

- The Warriors took a 2-1 lead after doubles play as Paige Potaracke (La Crosse, Wis./Luther) and Kalyn Geddes (Bend, Ore./Luther Preparatory) were 8-3 winners at No. 1 and Kendra Bergmann (Slinger, Wis./Slinger) and Taylor Bergmann (Slinger, Wis./Slinger) recorded an 8-0 shutout at No. 3.
- In singles play, WLC took five of six flights from the Stars to propel them to victory. Geddes was a 6-3, 6-4 winner at No. 2, Tabitha Schultz (Spokane, Wash./Luther Preparatory) at No. 3 won 6-1, 6-4, Amanda Pearson (Prairie du Sac, Wis. /Luther Preparatory) won her No. 4 matchup 6-2, 6-2, Emily Boyd (Lebanon, Wis./Luther Preparatory) posted a 6-0, 6-0 sweep at No. 5, and Katarina Volkmann (Slinger, Wis./Slinger) won her No. 6 match 6-0, 6-0.

- The Warriors once again took a 2-1 lead after doubles play as Kendra Bergmann and Taylor Bergmann recorded an 8-4 win at No. 2 and Natalie Anderson (Cedarburg, Wis./Cedarburg) and Volkmann won at No. 3 doubles 8-2.
- In singles action, WLC won all six singles matches against the Cougars to win the match 8-1. Potaracke won her No. 1 match 6-2, 6-2. Geddes was a 6-1, 6-2 winner at No. 2, Schultz at No. 3 won a three-set match 6-3, 3-6, 10-7, Pearson won her No. 4 dual 6-1, 6-1. Boyd posted a 6-2, 6-0 victory at No. 5 and Volkmann won her No. 6 match 6-0, 6-0.
