Warriors Fall To Undefeated Falcons

MEQUON, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - The Wisconsin Lutheran College women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match to newly-crowned conference champion Concordia Wisconsin on Friday at CUW Tennis Courts.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Falcons swept the Warriors in doubles play, winning each flight by scores of 8-2, 8-0, and 8-0.
• WLC dropped all six singles matches in straight sets, with the closest coming at No. 3 where Emily Boyd (Lebanon, Wis./Luther Preparatory) fell 6-4, 6-4 in a battle of the top two No. 3 singles players in the league.
• With the loss, the Warriors were officially eliminated from the six-team conference tournament in the spring.

• Wisconsin Lutheran plays its third straight match in as many days tomorrow when it hosts Lakeland (2-9, 1-6 NACC) at 10:00 a.m. in its final match of the fall season at Hart Park. The Muskies defeated Beloit last Sunday, 7-2.
