Box Score MILWAUKEE (WLCSports.com) – Jen Dowden (Bonduel, Wis./Bonduel) scored a career-high 35 points and the Wisconsin Lutheran College women's basketball team improved to 5-0 in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference following a 75-56 win over Concordia Chicago on Saturday afternoon at the Recreation Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Cougars scored the first points of the game, but it would be their only lead for the rest of the contest.
- The Warriors came back to take an 8-4 lead and later scored the final six points of the first quarter for a 24-13 lead. WLC shot its best field goal percentage of the game in the opening quarter, as it went for 47.4 percent compared to CUC's 30.0 percent.
- CUC came as close as six points early in the second quarter, but WLC responded with a 10-0 run for 34-18 lead with 6:20 left before halftime.
- Another 7-0 run later in the half gave the Warriors their largest lead of the half of 20 points, as they led by that same margin, 45-25, at halftime.
- The Warriors increased their lead in the third quarter to a game-high 27 points at 57-30, before the Cougars responded with a 9-0 run. Wisconsin Lutheran led by 21 points, 61-40, through three quarters of action.
- Wisconsin Lutheran led by 26 points early on in the fourth quarter, but a Cougars' 12-1 run brought the lead back down to 15 points with under three minutes to play. However, the visitors would get no closer as the Warriors came away with the 19-point win.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Dowden led all scorers with a career-best 35 points on 12-for-20 shooting, while blocking three shots. She established a new career high for the third time already this season.
- Caitlin Knueppel (Wauwatosa, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) added 16 points on four three-pointers and five assists. Maddy Elrod (Conifer, Colo./Conifer) pulled down a career- and game-high 13 rebounds.
- The Warriors shot 42.4 percent (25-for-59) for the game, while the Cougars were limited to just 28.6 percent (20-for-70) shooting.
- WLC shot above 40 percent for the fifth straight game and blocked a season-high seven shots. The Warriors' nine three-pointers made are their second-highest in a game this season.
- Lauren Orr and Courtney Lofink scored 12 points each for the Cougars, who lost for the 11th straight time to the Warriors.

- The Warriors will have some time off for final exams before traveling to Honolulu, Hawaii for the 2016 Hoops in Hawaii Holiday Classic. WLC will play Redlands (2-5) on December 19 and Chapman (1-3) on December 20.
