NEW BERLIN, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - The Wisconsin Lutheran College women's tennis team picked up a key pair of NACC wins, improving its conference record to 5-2 on the season after defeating Alverno and Concordia Chicago Saturday afternoon at the Princeton Club.

HOW IT HAPPENED (ALVERNO)
- The Warriors won two of three doubles matches in their opening contest, with the No. 3 Doubles team of Hannah Gerbing (Pewaukee, Wis.) and Taylor Bergmann (Slinger, Wis.) winning 8-0.
- Wisconsin Lutheran won five of the six singles matches, including Paige Potaracke (La Crosse, Wis.) collecting a victory at the No. 1 singles position.
- Reebee Ratkowski (Waterford, Wis.), Emily Boyd (Lebanon, Wis.), Hannah Gerbing (Pewaukee, Wis.), and Katarina Volkmann (Slinger, Wis.) all collected singles victories.
HOW IT HAPPENED (CONCORDIA CHICAGO)
- WLC defeated Concordia Chicago without dropping a single match.
- Potaracke collected a victory 6-3, 7-6 at the No. 1 Singles position and also partnered with Boyd to earn an 8-3 victory at the No. 1 Doubles position.
- Volkmann collected a 6-0, 6-0 victory at the No. 4 singles position, while Tabitha Schultz (Coeur d'Alene, Idaho) earned a 6-2, 6-0 victory at the No. 2 singles spot.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- The Warriors collected victories in 12 of their 15 matches played today.
- WLC earned its second 9-0 victory of the season.
- Wisconsin Lutheran won its fifth straight match, its longest winning streak since it won six straight to start the 2015 fall season.
- Ratkowski upped her team-best individual record to 8-2 on the season.
FOR THE FOES
- The Inferno picked up the only victories at the No. 1 doubles and No. 2 singles positions.
