(WLCSports.com) – The Wisconsin Lutheran College women's basketball team forced a season-high 31 turnovers and held host Rockford to 25.6 percent shooting from the field en route to a 73-42 road victory over the Regents Saturday afternoon inside the Seaver Center. The Warriors won their 13th straight game, tying the longest winning streak since the 2014-2015 season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Warriors came out of the gate strong as they took an early 7-2 lead after a Kelly Tramburg (Fall River, Wis.) trey from the top of the key.
- Wisconsin Lutheran's defense held the hosts without a field goal for 4:23 in the opening quarter and forced three turnovers in that span as WLC held a 12-5 lead with four minutes remaining in the opening quarter.
- Tramburg scored eight points as WLC doubled up RU, 16-8, after one quarter of play.
- After Rockford's Nicole Silvers buried a three-pointer from the wing on the Regents' opening possession of the second quarter, the Warriors used an explosive 15-0 run to break the game open.
- Coreana Carson (Milwaukee, Wis.) converted a three-point play to push the Green and White's lead to 25-11 with 7:45 remaining in the half.
- Jen Dowden's (Bonduel, Wis.) layup off a full-court pass from Carson gave WLC a 37-14 lead with three minutes remaining in the second quarter.
- Caitlin Knueppel (Wauwatosa, Wis.) scored the final five points of the half for Wisconsin Lutheran, which carried a 46-14 lead into the locker room.
- The Warriors forced 21 first-half turnovers and held Rockford to just 25 percent shooting from the floor in the opening half.
- Carson led all scorers with 13 points in the first half, while Knueppel added 11 of her own.
- Back-to-back buckets from Knueppel gave WLC a 55-14 lead, its largest margin of the game, just two minutes into the second half.

- Four free throws from Wynonah Filla (Osseo, Wis.) pushed WLC's advantage to 68-32 with just over three minutes remaining in regulation.
- The Warriors' lead never dropped below 26 points in the final quarter as they closed out the 73-42 conference victory.

- Carson led three Warriors in double-figures with 16 points and dished out a team-high eight assists.
