GREEN BAY, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - The Wisconsin Lutheran College women's tennis team suffered two non-conference defeats Sunday afternoon as they fell to St. Norbert, 8-1, and Saint Mary's (Minn.), 9-0, at Western Racquet & Fitness Club.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Paige Potaracke (La Crosse, Wis.) and Emily Boyd (Lebanon, Wis.) picked up an 8-2 win at the No. 1 doubles position to open the contest against St. Norbert. The win marked the ninth victory at the No. 1 doubles position for the duo, including their fifth straight win.
- Hannah Gerbing (Pewaukee, Wis.) battled at the No. 5 singles position, but fell 7-5, 6-3.
- The Green Knights swept the remainder of the matches to secure the 8-1 victory.
- Saint Mary's (Minn.) won all three doubles matches by scores of 8-1, 8-1 and 8-2.
- The Cardinals swept the matches in singles play, earning the 9-0 triumph.
UP NEXT
- The Warriors enjoy a few weeks off before returning to action against Alverno April 17. The Inferno (4-7) have yet to compete this spring.
