Box Score MILWAUKEE (WLCSports.com) – Holding a commanding 35-point lead at the halftime break, the Wisconsin Lutheran College women's basketball team earned its fifth consecutive victory Tuesday night over the visiting Rockford Regents, 79-38, inside the Recreation Complex. Sophomore Jenna Mace (Wisconsin Dells, Wis.) scored all of her game-high 19 points in the first half for the Warriors.

- Wisconsin Lutheran scored on its opening three possessions to take a 7-2 lead a minute and a half into the opening quarter. After Rockford brought the game back within two 0:30 seconds later, WLC went on a 7-0 run to extend its advantage to 14-5.
- The Warriors led by as many as 17 late in the first quarter, and the team shot 70.6 percent (12-of-17) from the floor. Mace recorded a team-high nine points in the period, while junior Amanda Brug (Sturtevant, Wis.) added six of her own.
- The second quarter opened with a 10-0 run for the hosts, as sophomore Morgan Tramburg (Fall River, Wis.) scored four quick points and sophomore Kalies Birkholz (Watertown, Wis.) and senior Tierney Woodward (Poynette, Wis.) each connected on makes from long distance.
- Later in the first half, the Warriors pushed the lead up to 53-13 behind another double-digit run, out-scoring the Regents 14-0 over a span of three minutes. Rockford scored the final five points of the half and trailed 53-18 at the break.
- In the third quarter, WLC's lead reached a maximum of 41 points at 61-20 as sophomore Ally Gough (Horicon, Wis.) scored a fast break layup off a steal from freshman Melissa Bruckner (Lac du Flambeau, Wis.). With two seconds left in the quarter, sophomore Maria Murray (Middleton, Wis.) dropped in a layup and the Warriors led 68-27.
- The two teams matched each other in the final quarter, with both sides scoring 11 points. Wisconsin Lutheran got four points from freshman Amanda Klasinski (Stevens Point, Wis.) and three from freshman Julia Holtz (Lowell, Wis.) to close out the 79-38 win.
- Mace recorded a game-high 19 points in just 16 minutes, going 8-of-9 from the floor and connecting on both of her attempts from three. Morgan Tramburg and Murray each scored 10 off the bench to round out the Warriors in double figures.
- WLC shot 45.9 percent (34-of-74) from the field and 29.6 percent (8-of-27) from deep.
- Murray's seven rebounds led the team while Gough had a team-high six assists, while Mace and Birkholz each had five. The 27 total assists were a season-high for the Green and White.
- The Warriors defense continued its trend of creating turnovers, as the Regents recorded 29 turnovers, including 17 WLC steals. Bruckner had a game-high five steals, and the Warriors turned those turnovers into 31 points.
- Wisconsin Lutheran used pace to its advantage, out-scoring Rockford 17-0 on the fastbreak.
- Emily Cox finished with a team-high 17 points for the Regents, who shot 37.1 percent (13-of-35) from the floor and 28.6 percent (4-of-14) from three.
- Carlye Heitter and Jazsmin Blue tied for the team lead with seven rebounds, while Katyln Fiorucci and Linzy Keller had three assists apiece.
