Box Score PLYMOUTH, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's basketball team scored 62 points and shot over 68 percent in the second half en route to a 113-86 NACC road win over Lakeland on Wednesday inside Woltzen Gymnasium. Senior Andrew Bruggink (Brookfield, Wis.) scored 22 of his game-high 28 points in the second half to lead four Warriors in double figures. Junior Matty Farner (Muskego, Wis.) also added a double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds.

- The Muskies jumped out to an 8-3 lead over the Warriors at the 16:43 mark of the first half for what proved to be their largest lead of the game.
- WLC regained the lead thanks to a 13-4 run and scoring contributions from five different players. The next six and a half minutes featured seven ties and seven lead changes as neither team held more than a three-point lead.
- An 8-0 run by Wisconsin Lutheran gave the visitors a 40-35 lead after a corner three from sophomore Drew Bernhagen (Markesan, Wis.) with 5:31 remaining in the first half. Lakeland came within one point twice, but the Green and White brought their lead back up to a first-half high six points, 51-45, at halftime.
- The Warriors built an 11-point lead at 61-50 nearly four minutes into the second half behind six points from Bruggink. WLC's lead hovered around 10 points for the next three minutes before a 6-0 LU run brought the lead down to just four points and forced a timeout with 12:37 to play.
- Wisconsin Lutheran came out of the timeout and scored 11 straight points with five different players again accounting for the scoring run as the lead emerged to 15 points.
- The Muskies would get a close as 12 points with 5:51 left, before the Green and White rattled off another 11 straight to reach the century mark and extend its advantage to 23 points. A layup from sophomore Grant Biesterfeld (West Bend, Wis.) with eight seconds left gave the Warriors their largest lead of 27 points before time expired.
- Bruggink paced four players in double figures with a game-high 28 points, including 22 in the second half. Farner scored a career-high 18 points to go along with 12 rebounds for his third double-double of the season. Bernhagen reached double-digit scoring for the fourth straight game with 17 points, and senior Andrew Wojcik (Brookfield, Wis.) rounded out the double-figure scorers with 11 points.
- WLC shot a season-high 56.5 percent (39-for-69) for the game, including a blistering 68.8 percent (22-for-32) in the second half. Wisconsin Lutheran was also impressive from the charity stripe, making 27 of its 30 attempts for 90 percent.
- The Green and White nearly doubled-up the Muskies on the glass, 46-25, and dominated paint scoring, 54-30.
- The Warriors have averaged over 101 points, shot over 53 percent from the floor, and defeated their opponents by an average of 23 points over their four-game winning streak.
- The 27-point win was WLC's largest margin of victory over the Muskies in the all-time series.
- Jequan Pegees and Trenton Nickel scored 19 points apiece to pace the Muskies, who shot 45.2 percent (28-for-62) from the floor for the game. Lakeland made just 19 of its 30 free throw tries.
