(WLCSports.com) – The Wisconsin Lutheran College football team jumped out to a 10-0 lead after the first quarter, but visiting Aurora responded with 35 unanswered points and went on to defeat the Warriors 70-29 on Hall of Fame Day Saturday afternoon at Raabe Stadium. WLC racked up a season-high 502 yards of offense in the game.

- On their first possession of the game, the Warriors marched 75 yards down the field and scored on a six-yard touchdown pass from senior Nick Yockey (Gig Harbor, Wash.) to sophomore Trevion Green (Miami, Fla.).
- Following a strong goalline stand by the Warriors defense, the offense capitalized on the other side of the field with a 27-yard field goal by freshman Arnulfo Ortega (Laredo, Texas), giving the Warriors a 10-0 lead at the end of the first quarter.
- The Spartans, who have scored 70 points in each of their first three conference games, came alive in the second quarter, scoring 21 unanswered points to take a 21-10 lead into halftime.
- Aurora came out strong in the second half, scoring a pair of rushing touchdowns from 24 yards and one yard to take a 35-10 lead early in the third quarter.
- WLC responded with a 55-yard touchdown throw from Yockey to sophomore Carter Schneider (Lake Mills, Wis.) bringing the score to 35-16 midway through the third period.
- AU scored again on a nine-yard touchdown pass, but Wisconsin Lutheran responded swiftly with a four-play, 90-yard drive capped off by a 24-yard touchdown run by freshman Raymond Forman (New Orleans, La.) making the score 42-23 late in the third.
- The Spartans ended the third quarter with a pair of touchdown passes and opened the fourth quarter with a five-yard touchdown run making the score 63-23 early in the fourth quarter.
- Late in the fourth quarter, the Warriors scored on a 26-yard touchdown throw from Yockey to sophomore Mike DuPree (Milwaukee, Wis.).
- Aurora cemented the victory with a one-yard touchdown run with less than a minute remaining on the clock.
- Yockey completed 24-of-41 passes for 318 yards and three TDs, while Schneider caught eight passes for 158 yards and a touchdown. Senior Justin Parbs (Brookfield, Wis.) carried the ball 19 times for 101 yards.
- Freshman Vinny LoGiudice (River Ridge, La.) posted a game-high eight tackles and freshman Savon Goodwin (New Orleans, La.) had six, including one sack and one tackle for loss.
