Box Score BELOIT, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Senior Alex VanCrete (Green Lake, Wis.) scored a game-high 15 points to lead five players in double figures, as the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's basketball team led wire-to-wire in an 80-73 non-conference road win over Beloit on Monday night inside Flood Arena. The win moved the Warriors to 3-0 for the second time since the 2007-2008 season.

- The Warriors sprinted out to a 10-0 lead in the first three minutes of the game behind points from sophomores Grayson Goetz (Aurora, Ill.) and Jacob Stoltz (Kewaskum, Wis.) and VanCrete.
- The Buccaneers scored the next six points and came within three points at 13-10 for their closest deficit of the game.
- WLC rattled off eight straight points to take a 21-10 lead behind five points from Stoltz and a triple from senior Drew Bernhagen (Markesan, Wis.).
- Wisconsin Lutheran's lead hovered between eight and 10 points for nearly the remainder of the first half. The Green and White went into halftime ahead 40-28 following a slam from VanCrete for the final two points of the opening half.
- The Warriors built a game-high 14-point lead in the first minute of the second half. BC trimmed its deficit down to six points at 53-47 and came within five at the eight-minute mark.
- WLC answered Beloit's run with four straight and later increased its lead to 11 points at 76-65 with 2:07 remaining in the game.
- The Bucs closed to within four points with just 0:34 seconds left, but time was against them as Wisconsin Lutheran sealed the win with three free throws.

- WLC shot 45.8 percent (27-for-59) from the floor and made 19 of its 28 attempts from the charity stripe.
