(WLCSports.com) – The Wisconsin Lutheran College football team regained the Luther Cup trophy for the first time since 2017 after a convincing 41-21 win over NACC rival Concordia Wisconsin on Saturday afternoon at Raabe Stadium. The 20-point victory is the Warriors' largest margin ever over the Falcons. Senior Justin Parbs (Brookfield, Wis.) became just the second player in program history to surpass 1,000 rushing yards in a season during Saturday's rivalry game.

- The Warriors marched 66 yards on 11 plays on their opening drive, but the drive stalled in the red zone and freshman Arnulfo Ortega's (Laredo, Texas) 26-yard field goal gave the hosts an early 3-0 lead.
- The Falcons responded with a 28-yard passing touchdown on their next possession, but WLC scored late in the first quarter on an 18-yard pass from senior Nick Yockey (Gig Harbor, Wash.) to freshman Chris White (Houston, Texas) to cap a seven-play, 58-yard scoring drive and put Wisconsin Lutheran in front 10-7.
- The Green and White added a pair of second-quarter touchdowns, the first on a 14-yard throw from Yockey to senior Jordan Jewell (Hartford, Wis.) and a 12-yard pass from Yockey to sophomore Trevion Green (Miami, Fla.). The later score was setup by an interception from junior Brevin Jegerlehner (Sun Prairie, Wis.) as the Warriors held a commanding 24-7 halftime lead.
- The Warriors opened the second half scoring 10 consecutive points on a 45-yard rushing touchdown from Parbs and a 31-yard field goal by Ortega. CUW added a late third-quarter touchdown to make the score 34-14 after three quarters.
- Concordia Wisconsin scored first in the fourth, but it would be too late as Yockey connected with Jewell on a 21-yard touchdown pass on a third-down pass play to seal the game, 41-21.
- Parbs posted his fourth straight 100-yard rushing game and fifth in the last six games with 166 yards on 24 carries and a touchdown. He surpassed the 1,000-yard mark for the season on a 16-yard run with four minutes left in the game.
- Yockey was an efficient 22-for-31 for 270 yards and four touchdowns through the air.
- Jewell caught eight passes for 93 yards and two touchdowns.
- Defensively, senior Ty Castillo (Palmetto, Fla.) led all players with 13 tackles and a tackle for loss.
