Box Score MILWAUKEE (WLCSports.com) – Senior Amanda Brug (Sturtevant, Wis.) scored 15 points and junior Jenna Mace (Wisconsin Dells, Wis.) added 12 to lead the Wisconsin Lutheran College women's basketball team to an 84-28 win over Alverno on Saturday night inside the Recreation Complex. With the win, the Warriors extended their home winning streak to 11 games, including 14 straight over the Inferno.

- The Warriors scored the first eight points of the game and forced an Alverno timeout less than two minutes in. WLC extended its lead to 15-2 and held a 25-7 lead after the first quarter. Mace scored 10 points in the quarter on 4-for-6 shooting as the hosts shot 50 percent (10-for-20) from the floor.
- Wisconsin Lutheran went on a 14-3 run to start the second quarter for a 39-10 lead. The Green and White out-scored the Inferno 10-2 over the final 5:09 for a 49-14 halftime lead. Brug paced the Warriors with eight points in the quarter.
- WLC held Alverno to just four points in the third quarter and closed the period by scoring 14 straight points for a 71-18 lead through three. Wisconsin Lutheran shot 52.6 percent (10-for-19) from the floor while holding the visitors to just two made field goals.
- Five players scored for the Green and White in the fourth quarter as the Warriors led by as many as 57 points with just over two minutes to play.
- Brug paced the Warriors with 15 points on 7-for-10 shooting, while Mace wasn't far behind with 12 on a 5-of-9 performance.
- Freshman Sam Leisemann (Fall River, Wis.) and junior Abby Vavra (Mukwonago, Wis.) grabbed a team-best eight rebounds for WLC, which out-rebounded Alverno 46-41.
- Wisconsin Lutheran shot 43.4 percent (36-for-83) from the floor for the game and turned the ball over just six times, a season-low.
- The Green and White out-scored the Inferno 49-2 in points off turnovers, 31-5 in second-chance points, and 58-18 in the paint.
- The Warriors finished with a season-high 24 steals along with seven blocks for the second consecutive game.
- Vorian Wilcox was the lone Inferno player to reach double figures with 12 points. Alverno shot 25 percent (12-for-48) for the game and was forced into 33 turnovers.
