Box Score FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Junior Jenna Mace (Wisconsin Dells, Wis.) scored a team-high 16 points and the Wisconsin Lutheran College women's basketball team led wire-to-wire in a 67-40 road win over Marian on Friday night inside Sadoff Gymnasium. It was the Warriors' 25th straight win over the Sabres in the all-time series.

- The Warriors jumped out to an 8-0 lead 4:35 into the opening quarter thanks to a pair of three-pointers from freshman Kaitlyn Shadoski (Janesville, Wis.) and sophomore Julia Holtz (Lowell, Wis.). The Sabres closed within two behind six straight points, but WLC closed the quarter with six consecutive of its own for a 14-6 advantage after one quarter. Eight of Wisconsin Lutheran's 14 first-quarter points came in the paint.
- A 7-2 spurt to start the second period gave the Green and White a 13-point lead at 21-8. A rebound putback from freshman Sam Leisemann (Fall River, Wis.) put the Warriors ahead by 16 points at 28-12 with 1:15 left before halftime. Marian closed to within 12 points, 30-18, at halftime. WLC controlled the paint again in the second, out-scoring the Sabres 12-4.
- Mace opened a back-and-forth third quarter with a three, but MU answered with five straight to come within 10 points at 33-23 with 8:18 left. Wisconsin Lutheran later extended its lead to 17 points on a Leisemann jumper in the paint and carried a 13-point lead into the fourth quarter. The Green and White edged the Sabres 15-14 in scoring in the period.
- The Warriors kept Marian off the scoreboard for the first seven minutes of the fourth quarter, building a game-high 29-point lead after a pair of free throws from junior Ally Gough (Horicon, Wis.). The visitors lead never dropped below 23 points en route to the 27-point road win. WLC shot a game-high 53.8 percent in the final frame and out-scored the hosts 13-2 in points off turnovers.
- Mace paced Wisconsin Lutheran with 16 points and was the lone player in double figures. She also added six rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
- Leisemann finished with nine points and eight rebounds, while Shadoski and senior Amanda Brug (Sturtevant, Wis.) chipped in with eight points each. Brug also grabbed eight rebounds.
- WLC shot 40.9 percent (27-for-66) for the game, but was held to 52.9 percent from the charity stripe and 18.2 percent from beyond the arc.
- The Green and White out-scored the Sabres 38-10 in the paint and 24-10 off turnovers.
