(WLCSports.com) – A first-half goal from junior Jason Cano (Delavan, Wis.) gave the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's soccer team a lead that it would never surrender as the Warriors blanked Concordia Chicago 2-0 in a NACC crossover match at Concordia Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.

- Cano put the Warriors on the board in the 13th minute for his fourth goal of the season. Sophomore Joseph Raasch (Germantown, Wis.) assisted on the play as Cano beat the keeper to the lower corner of the goal.
- WLC's defense allowed just one shot on goal throughout the first half, and freshman goalkeeper Puma Galvan (Racine, Wis.) stopped the shot to keep Wisconsin Lutheran in front.
- The Warriors added to their lead late in the second half as junior Aedon Meurer (Waukesha, Wis.) scored his first goal of the season via a penalty kick.
- Galvan stopped four shots in the second half to keep the Cougars off the board for a 2-0 victory.
- Wisconsin Lutheran attempted nine shots, with six finishing on frame. Meurer recorded a game-high five shots and three shots on goal. Cano added two shots with one on target.
- Galvan finished with six saves, and posted a shutout for the second time in three matches for his third win of the season.
