(WLCSports.com) – Both defenses held strong as the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's soccer team battled to a 0-0 draw against NACC foe Concordia Wisconsin on Wednesday night at Warriors Soccer Field. Freshman goalkeeper Puma Galvan (Racine, Wis.) stopped five shots in the tie game to keep the Falcons off the scoreboard.

- The Falcons put a trio of shots on goal in the first half, but all three were turned away by Galvan. The Warriors had a pair of chances late in the half, as sophomore Josh Sepic (Mukwonago, Wis.) and freshman Jerry Jacinto (Kenosha, Wis.) both put shots on target, but were unable to beat CUW's keeper.
- Concordia Wisconsin attempted eight shots in the first 15 minutes of the second half, but were unable to break the scoreless contest. Wisconsin Lutheran had a couple chances in the following minutes, including a shot by sophomore Joseph Raasch (Germantown, Wis.) that went just left of the post. Junior Aedon Meurer (Waukesha, Wis.) attempted the final shot in regulation, but it sailed just high.
- In the first overtime, both teams had one shot, with Meurer recording a shot on target for the Warriors. The score remained deadlocked at 0-0 and in the second overtime, the Falcons offense got one final chance, but Galvan turned away the shot to keep the contest scoreless.
- The Warriors attempted nine shots, with four shots finishing on frame. Sepic, Jacinto, Meurer, and freshman Ryan Mazza (Elm Grove, Wis.) each had a shot on goal for the Warriors.
- Galvan finished with five saves in 110 minutes in goal.
- Wednesday marked the first tie between the two sides since the 2014 season.
- Concordia Wisconsin recorded 25 total shots and five shots on target. Gilberto Gomez and Ivan Cuellar led the Falcons with five total shots apiece.
