Box Score 2 OSHKOSH, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – One night after falling in five sets to UW-Stout, the Wisconsin Lutheran College women's volleyball team earned a come-from-behind five-set win of its own on Saturday, defeating Carroll 3-2 for their first win of the 2021 season. The Warriors later fell to host UW-Oshkosh 3-0 in their final match of the Polito's Classic at the Kolf Sports Center. Junior Jenna Charron (Appleton, Wis.) was named to the All-Tournament Team for her play this weekend.

- The Warriors won the opening set over the Pioneers 25-19. Carroll claimed wins in both the second and third sets also by scores of 25-19. WLC evened the contest in the fourth set 27-25, and clinched its first win of the season with a 15-12 fifth set win.
- Carly Heuer (Germantown, Wis.) led Wisconsin Lutheran with 11 kills, while Charron and junior Rebecca Chavez (Chicago, Ill.) added nine apiece.
- Junior Emily Sarles (Lombard, Ill.) distributed a season-high 26 assists with 11 digs for a double-double. Freshman Amanda Viel (Burlington, Wis.) served up seven aces.
- Junior Ally Goba (Mukwonago, Wis.) recorded a match-high 29 digs, while freshman Kylee Gnabasik (Jefferson, Wis.) chipped in with 14. Freshman Amahra Matthai (Plover, Wis.) had five block assists.
- The host Titans topped the Warriors in three sets in their final match of the weekend by scores of 25-17, 25-20, and 25-21.
- Charron contributed a team-high 11 kills, while Sarles dished out 18 assists.
- Goba tied a match-high with 19 digs and Viel chipped in with 10. Chavez recorded five block assists.
