Box Score 2 WHEATON, Ill. (WLCSports.com) – On the final day of the Marilyn Scribner Invitational, the Wisconsin Lutheran College women's volleyball split a pair of matches, dropping the first to Albion before winning a five-set match against Carroll. Juniors Jenna Charron (Appleton, Wis.) and Ally Goba (Mukwonago, Wis.) were both named to the All-Tournament Team at the conclusion of the tournament.

- With the Warriors leading 6-5 in the first set, the Britons scored six consecutive points to force a WLC timeout. Albion maintained at least a four-point advantage for the remainder of the set, and extended the lead with a pair of three-point runs to win 25-16.
- In the second set, the Britons took control with an 8-2 start before Wisconsin Lutheran cut the deficit down to 12-10. Albion pulled away with a six-point run and closed the set with seven straight for a 25-12 win. The Britons secured the third set 25-16 after leading throughout.
- Charron led the team with seven kills while freshman Amahra Matthai (Plover, Wis.) added six. Charron, Matthai, and junior Rebecca Chavez (Chicago, Ill.) each had a pair of block assists.
- Junior Emily Sarles (Lombard, Ill.) recorded 17 assists, while Goba collected 10 digs.
- Against Carroll, the Warriors overcame an 18-12 deficit in the opening set to win 28-26. Wisconsin Lutheran used that momentum to open up an 8-2 lead to start the second set before the Pioneers pulled back within one point. A late five-point run for WLC helped them claim a 25-19 win in set two.
- Carroll scored nine straight points in the third set to win 25-12 and then took a tightly contested fourth set 25-23. In the final set, the Pioneers led 8-7 before the Warriors closed the match on an 8-2 spurt to win 15-10.
- Charron led the team with 16 kills on a .239 hitting percentage. Chavez added 12 kills and paced the team with seven block assists.
- Sarles and freshman Emma Incaprero (Mauston, Wis.) led the team with 27 and 21 assists, respectively.
- Goba posted 19 digs with Sarles adding 10 more for a double-double.
