Box Score 2 ST. PAUL, Minn. (WLCSports.com) – The Wisconsin Lutheran College women's volleyball team wrapped up its opening weekend of the 2021 season on Saturday at the Kathryne Pals Legacy Invitational by facing Bethel (Minn.), who is currently receiving votes, along with 20th-ranked host Northwestern. The Warriors fell in three sets to both teams inside the Ericksen Center.

- The Warriors played a pair of tightly contested sets with the Royals in their first match of the day, falling 25-23 and 25-22. Bethel was victorious in the third set by a score of 25-11.
- Senior Carly Heuer (Germantown, Wis.) and freshman Grace Kieselhorst (Watertown, Wis.) led WLC with six kills apiece.
- Freshmen setters Emma Incaprero (Mauston, Wis.) and Karah Valerio (Pewaukee, Wis.) recorded 11 assists each.
- Junior Ally Goba (Mukwonago, Wis.), who was later named to the All-Tournament Team, collected a team-high 14 digs.
- Wisconsin Lutheran recorded 13 kills and hit .136 in the opening set. Bethel posted a match-high .333 hitting percentage in the third set.
- The 20th-ranked Eagles hit over .300 in their first two sets of the second match and defeated the Warriors by scores of 25-17, 25-18, and 25-18.
- Heuer once again led the team with seven kills, while Kieselhorst and junior Jenna Charron (Appleton, Wis.) tallied six each.
- Valerio and Incaprero reached double-digit assists with 14 and 11, respectively.
- Goba (17) and Heuer (11) also notched double-figure dig totals.
- UNW recorded 20 blocks assists in the match and hit .226.
