Box Score MILWAUKEE (WLCSports.com) – Sophomore Meggie Scott (Yorkville, Ill.) scored a career-high 13 points to lead four players in double figures, as the 21st-ranked Wisconsin Lutheran College women's basketball team started its season 12-0 for the first time in program history after a 63-46 NACC win over Marian on Tuesday night inside the Recreation Complex.

- Both teams battled through a sluggish first quarter, as the Warriors and Sabres were both held below 30 percent shooting. After four early lead changes, WLC scored the last five points of the opening quarter to take a 16-10 lead after one.
- Wisconsin Lutheran led by as many as nine points in the second quarter (23-14), but a 9-3 Marian run brought them within just three points with 1:30 remaining before halftime. A three-point play from sophomore Sam Leisemann (Fall River, Wis.) capped the first-half scoring to send the Green and White into the locker room ahead 29-23.
- The Warriors pulled away from the Sabres in the third quarter, using a 9-0 scoring run to build its first double-digit lead midway through the quarter. WLC shot 62.5 percent from the floor and led by 19 points after three quarters.
- Wisconsin Lutheran led by as many as 20 points early in the fourth quarter following a three-point play from senior Jenna Mace (Wisconsin Dells, Wis.). MU came no closer than 16 points the rest of the way.
- Scott surpassed her career high for the second straight game, finishing with 13 points and tying a career high with seven assists.
- Leisemann notched her second straight double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds, while Mace and senior Kaitlyn Shadoski (Janesville, Wis.) added 10 points apiece.
- The Green and White tallied 11 steals and outscored the Sabres 13-4 in second chance points.
- The Warriors, who shot 33.3 percent from the floor for the game, won their 27th straight game over the Sabres, their longest winning streak against any NACC opponent.
