(WLCSports.com) – Sophomore Sam Leisemann (Fall River, Wis.) scored a team-high 13 points to lead four players in double figures, as the 17th-ranked Wisconsin Lutheran College women's basketball team rolled to a 70-39 win over Rockford on Saturday afternoon inside the Seaver Center. The win pushes the Warriors' record to 15-0 on the season.

- An 8-0 first-quarter run by the Warriors erased an early 4-3 deficit and gave the visitors an 11-4 lead at the 5:18 mark of the first quarter, highlighted by a pair of three-pointers from senior Kalies Birkholz (Watertown, Wis.). After the Regents cut the deficit down to three points at 11-8, another 8-0 scoring spurt by WLC put them in front 19-8 after the opening quarter. Freshman Mack Hogenson (Neenah, Wis.) and Birkholz connected from long distance over eight-point run.
- Leisemann scored the first four points of the second quarter for Wisconsin Lutheran to lead by 15 points. A three from senior Ally Gough (Horicon, Wis.) pushed the lead to 18 points at 28-10 at the 6:36 mark. The Green and White netted the final five points of the period to take a 37-15 lead into halftime. The Warriors held the Regents to just two made field goals in the second quarter.
- WLC scored the first seven points of the second half to build a 29-point advantage following another three from Gough. Rockford came no closer than 23 points in the period as Wisconsin Lutheran netted the final five points of the quarter to take a 53-25 lead into the final stanza.
- The Green and White extended their lead to a game-high 37 points for the first time midway through the fourth quarter after a jumper from freshman Lexy Smit (Brandon, Wis.). Two free throws from freshman Kara Troxel (Bonduel, Wis.) maintained the 37-point advantage at 68-31 with 4:14 remaining in the game. The Warriors won their 22nd straight game over Rockford with the 70-39 triumph.
- Leisemann led four players in double figures with 13 points and tied a team high with five rebounds.
- Birkholz finished with 12 points, Gough scored 11, and Hogenson tallied 10. The trio combined to make all eight of WLC's three-pointers.
- Birkholz added five steals and four rebounds and senior Jenna Mace (Wisconsin Dells, Wis.) had five boards and five dimes. Sophomore Meggie Scott (Yorkville, Ill.) also dished out five assists.
- Wisconsin Lutheran, which shot 40.6 percent for the game, held an opponent below 40 points for the fifth time this season.
