Box Score MILWAUKEE (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College had its seven-match home winning streak snapped by Concordia Chicago 3-1 on Saturday at the Time of Grace Center.Â
The Warriors (8-8, 5-4 NACC), who suffered their first home loss since September 6, were defeated by the Cougars (9-12, 4-5 NACC) by scores of 25-16, 20-25, 25-22, 25-16.
WLC was held to a season-low .067 hitting for the match behind 38 kills, 30 errors, and 119 total attempts.
Freshman
Kayla Wigley (Milwaukee, Wis.) led Wisconsin Lutheran with 13 kills. Sophomore
Amahra Matthai (Plover, Wis.) added six kills and three total blocks. Sophomore
Emma Incaprero (Mauston, Wis.) distributed 22 assists while senior
Emily Sarles (Lombard, Ill.) followed with 10.
Freshman
Cassie Patchett (Appleton, Wis.) had five of the team's 12 service aces, while tying for a team-high 10 digs. It marked the eighth time this season the Warriors served up at least 10 aces. Sophomore
Kylee Gnabasik (Jefferson, Wis.) also chipped in 10 digs.Â
Grace Heywood had a double-double of 11 kills and 10 digs for CUC, which hit .149 for the match on 34 kills, 19 errors, and 101 total attempts.
