MILWAUKEE (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College shot over 50 percent and made 15 three-pointers on its way to a season-opening 103-53 non-conference win over Martin Luther on Friday at the Time of Grace Center.

The Warriors (1-0) were knotted up 11-11 with the Knights (0-2) at the 12:19 mark of the first half before WLC rattled off a 14-0 scoring run capped by a three from junior AJ Vos (Lombard, Ill.).

MLC came within 10 points at 25-15, but a 10-0 Wisconsin Lutheran scoring run extended the margin to 20 points. The Warriors ended the opening half on another 10-0 scoring run which culminated with a dunk from junior Ryan Broeckel (Chilton, Wis.) as the first-half horn sounded.

WLC netted the first five points of the second half as its run extended to 15 straight points, a game-high. Wisconsin Lutheran pushed its lead above 40 points for the first time during a 13-1 scoring run, which ended with a dunk from sophomore Nathaniel Luebke (Valders, Wis.).
