Box Score MILWAUKEE (WLCSports.com) – The Wisconsin Lutheran College women's basketball team clinched its 11th Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference regular season championship on Tuesday night after a 79-16 win over Alverno inside the Recreation Complex. The Warriors celebrated the careers of their five seniors, Jenna Mace (Wisconsin Dells, Wis.), Kalies Birkholz (Watertown, Wis.), Abby Vavra (Mukwonago, Wis.), Ally Gough (Horicon, Wis.), and Maria Murray (Middleton, Wis.) during a pregame ceremony.

- The Warriors broke open a 6-4 game midway through the first quarter with a 14-1 scoring run to take a 20-5 lead after the opening 10 minutes. Sophomore Sam Leisemann (Fall River, Wis.) scored eight points as WLC shot 52.6 percent from the floor in the period.
- Wisconsin Lutheran built its first 20-point lead two-and-a-half minutes into the second quarter and shutout the Inferno over the final seven minutes of the first half. The Green and White closed the half on an 11-0 run to take a 40-9 halftime lead.
- The Warriors scored the first 16 points of the second half and held Alverno scoreless for nearly the first seven minutes of the quarter. Wisconsin Lutheran went into the fourth quarter with a 62-13 lead.
- The Green and White shot a game-high 53.3 percent in the fourth quarter and allowed just three points by the Inferno. The Warriors led by a game-high 63 points with just over one minute to play after a free throw from freshman Alyssa London (Freeport, Ill.).
- Leisemann led 18 players who scored in the game for WLC with 16 points on 8-of-9 shooting. Sophomore Nicole Jongebloed (Horicon, Wis.) added eight points and a career-high 12 rebounds off the bench.
- Wisconsin Lutheran shot 44.6 percent (37-for-83) from the floor, its second highest mark of the season.
- The Green and White finished with 64 rebounds and 25 assists, both season bests.
