(WLCSports.com) – A 17-4 game-ending run by St. Norbert sent the host Green Knights to a 74-71 win over the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's basketball team on Wednesday night in a battle of the NACC's top two teams inside the Mulva Family Fitness & Sports Center. Sophomore Jacob Stoltz (Kewaskum, Wis.) tied for a game-high 27 points to lead three players in double figures for the Warriors.

- The Green Knights jumped out to a big lead over the Warriors by making 10 of their first 12 shots in the game. SNC built a game-high 20-point lead at 25-5 at the 13:58 mark of the first half.
- An 11-0 run by WLC cut its deficit down to nine points after a pair of Stoltz free throws with 8:24 left before halftime. Wisconsin Lutheran trailed 30-27 with 4:03 left to play in the first half, but St. Norbert brought its lead back up to eight points with three minutes left.
- The Green and White used a 7-0 run to take their first lead of the game on a three from junior Simeon Strauss (Chicago, Ill.) with 1:16 left before halftime. The two teams went into intermission deadlocked at 39-39. Stoltz scored 15 points in the first half for the Warriors, who shot 60 percent from the floor in the opening half.
- After a back-and-forth start to the second half, consecutive threes from junior Trevor Stiede (Pulaski, Wis.) gave WLC a 57-50 lead at the 12:12 mark.
- The Green Knights drew within two points at 59-57, but an 8-0 run for Wisconsin Lutheran put them ahead by a game-high 10 points with 5:18 remaining after a Stoltz triple.
- SNC scored on its next five possessions to grab a 70-69 lead, but not before Stoltz knocked down two free throws to put the Green and White in front 71-70 with 1:20 left.
- St. Norbert scored on the following possession, and after a Warriors missed three, the hosts added a pair of free throws after an offensive rebound to hold a 74-71 lead with 6.4 seconds left.
- A last-second three from Stiede out of a timeout caromed off the back iron as the Green Knights held on for the three-point win.
- Stoltz tied for a game high with 27 points on 8-for-14 shooting with four threes. Strauss added 13 points while Stiede finished with 11.
- Senior Zach Zuleger (West Bend, Wis.) pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds.
- WLC shot 49.0 percent (25-for-51) from the floor, including a season-high 45.8 percent (11-for-24) from beyond the arc.
