WAUWATOSA, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College fell to NACC preseason favorite Edgewood 9-0 in a NACC dual match on Saturday at Hart Park.
The Eagles (4-3, 4-0 NACC) took all three doubles competitions from the Warriors (2-4, 1-2 NACC) to start the day. EC won by scores of 8-1, 8-1, and 8-2.
WLC dropped all six singles matches in straight sets, but sophomore
Ali Schmidt (Germantown, Wis.) took her opponent to three sets at No. 4 singles before falling 6-1, 0-6, 10-4.
Wisconsin Lutheran continues conference play tomorrow when it faces Alverno (0-5, 0-3 NACC) in a NACC road match. First serve is scheduled for 11 a.m. at McKinley Park Tennis Courts.
