RIVER FOREST, Ill. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College dropped a NACC road match to conference preseason favorite Dominican 9-1 on Saturday at West Campus Field.
The Stars (5-2-2, 4-0-0 NACC) jumped out to a 4-0 lead over the Warriors (2-7-0, 0-4-0 NACC) after scoring in the 4th, 8th, 12th, and 24th minute of the first half.
WLC cracked the scoring column in the 25th minute when freshman
Emilie Bartlett (Olathe, Kan.) scored her sixth goal of the season. Freshman
Lydia Drake (Neenah, Wis.) assisted on the score.
DU added one more goal in the 28th minute for a 5-1 halftime lead. In the second half, Dominican added two tallies in the 46th and another in the 71st and 73rd to account for all its scoring.

Brooke Bluhm (New Berlin, Wis.) recorded three shots apiece for Wisconsin Lutheran, which had seven for the game. Junior
Christian Casimir (Kaukauna, Wis.) made a season-high 12 saves.
