MILWAUKEE (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College got off to a fast start on Tuesday by taking the first two sets from non-conference opponent Wheaton, but the visiting Thunder stormed back to win three in a row and spoil the home opener for the Warriors inside the Time of Grace Center.
WLC (0-4) fell to the Thunder (2-2) by scores of 20-25, 18-25, 25-23, 25-15, 15-8.
Wisconsin Lutheran hit .128 for the match, recording 45 kills and 25 errors on 156 attempts. Senior
Jenna Charron (Appleton, Wis.) collected her first double-double on the young season with 12 kills and 18 digs, both team highs. Sophomore
Amahra Matthai (Plover, Wis.) added nine kills on 18 attacks for a .500 hitting percentage. Sophomore

Wheaton hit .121 for the match, with 43 kills against 26 errors in 140 attempts. Caroline Capps led the Thunder with 10 kills.Â
