MILWAUKEE (WLCSports.com) -Â Wisconsin Lutheran College overcame its second-worst shooting performance of the season for a 43-36 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference win over MSOE on Wednesday at the Time of Grace Center.
The Warriors (7-5, 4-1 NACC) used an 8-0 first-quarter scoring run to break free from a one-point game and lead 17-8. The Raiders (3-9, 2-3 NACC) netted the final four points of the opening stanza as the score read 17-12 in favor of WLC.
Wisconsin Lutheran rattled off another 8-0 scoring run in the second quarter after MSOE had posted the first two points of the period. The Warriors, who led 25-14 with 3:33 remaining, stretched their advantage 29-16 at the break thanks to a layup from sophomoreÂ

Despite going nearly four minutes without a point to start the third quarter, WLC led by a game-high 16 points at 32-16 following a three-pointer from senior
Ally Gough (Horicon, Wis.). Milwaukee School of Engineering closed the third quarter on a 12-2 scoring run to trail 34-28 entering the fourth period.
Wisconsin Lutheran held a 36-30 lead for nearly a five-and-a-half minute stretch in the fourth quarter before sophomore
Mack Hogenson (Neenah, Wis.) knocked down a corner three at the 2:34 mark. Two more free throws from sophomore
Ella Ten Pas (Oostburg, Wis.) extended the lead to 11 points, before the Raiders scored six of the final eight points in the game for the final margin.Â
Junior
Sam Leisemann (Fall River, Wis.) led the Warriors with 14 points and nine rebounds while shooting 7-for-9 from the floor. Gough and Hogenson finished with eight points apiece. WLCÂ shot just 26.4 percent (14-for-53) for the game, its second lowest output of the season.
Mahima Chokshi scored a game-high 18 points for MSOE, which shot 26 percent (13-for-50) for the game.
