FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College suffered a three-set setback to Marian on Thursday in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match at Sadoff Gymnasium.
The Warriors (7-14, 3-6 NACC) suffered their first loss to the Sabres (13-9, 5-4 NACC) since 2014 by scores of 25-11, 25-19, 25-17.
WLC, which hit .023 on 22 kills, 20 errors, and 88 attempts, was led by freshman's
Margie Stevens' (Oneida, Wis.) five kills. Junior
Emma Incaprero (Mauston, Wis.) tallied 10 assists and nine digs for Wisconsin Lutheran. Junior
Kylee Gnabasik (Jefferson, Wis.) collected a team-high 11 digs, while sophomore
Bailey Halliburton (Germantown, Wis.), and freshmen Stevens and
Johanna Andreae (Sturgeon Bay, Wis.) had two block assists apiece.
