MILWAUKEE (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College captured the 16-team Wisconsin Collegiate Rocket League Tournament on Saturday and Sunday at Best Buy Mayfair.
The Warriors defeated Carthage White (3-0), UW-Milwaukee White (3-0), and UW-Whitewater White (3-1) to secure a spot in the semifinals. WLC then earned a dramatic win over Northwest Technical in a best-of-seven series to earn a berth in the finals and a re-match with Northwest Tech. With the series knotted one game apiece, Wisconsin Lutheran won the next three games to take home the Division 3 and Division 4 championship.
The Warriors return to Wisconsin Collegiate Rocket League competition next semester. Stay tuned for the unveiling of the schedule, roster, and new uniforms.
