WAUKESHA, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College came up short in a pair of seven-inning, non-conference contests to Carroll on Tuesday at Frame Park. The Pioneers defeated the Warriors by scores of 5-3 and 9-5.

Ryan Dominick (Bartlett, Ill.), who doubled to leadoff the inning, scored from third on a fielder's choice.
Carroll strung together four straight hits to start its half of the fifth inning and led 5-1 heading to the sixth. Wisconsin Lutheran drew three consecutive walks to load the bases with nobody out in the sixth. Dominick and junior
Foster Engelhardt (North Richland Hills, Texas) later came around to score off throwing errors. The Warriors were retired in order in the seventh, as the Pioneers posted the 5-3 game one win.

Kason McFadden (Sachse, Texas) was hit by pitch with the bases loaded and Strupp drew a bases loaded walk for a 2-1 Warriors lead.
Carroll broke the game open in the fifth inning with eight runs on six hits for a seven-run advantage.
Danko and McFadden scored on a fielder's choice play in the sixth and Engelhardt doubled home Dominick in the seventh for WLC's final three runs of the game.
Engelhardt went 3-for-3 with a walk, RBI, and run scored for Wisconsin Lutheran. Dominick and junior
