Grayson Goetz (Aurora, Ill.) scored a game-high 22 points and Wisconsin Lutheran College took advantage of 23 turnovers to earn a 75-69 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference win over Dominican on Wednesday at the Igini Sports Forum.
The Warriors (17-4, 12-2 NACC), who improved to 6-4 in true road games this season, won their eighth straight game over the Stars (8-12, 5-8 NACC) in the all-time series.
WLC erased a brief 2-0 deficit with a 9-0 run, its largest of the game, for a seven-point lead just shy of three minutes into the action. DU tied the contest at 13-13 and jumped in front 21-20 with under 10 minutes to play. After five back-and-forth lead changes, Wisconsin Lutheran took its largest lead of the first half at 35-26 following a three from Goetz with a minute-and-a-half left. The Warriors went into halftime ahead 35-29 with Goetz netting nearly half (17) of the team's first-half points.
WLC broke away from a four-point contest for its first double-digit lead of the game at 46-36 with five minutes gone by in the second half. Wisconsin Lutheran held a double-digit lead for six minutes, including a game-high 15-point advantage at 65-50 after a layup from senior

Ryan Broeckel (Chilton, Wis.) blocked four shots. WLC, which shot 43.1 percent (28-for-65) from the floor, scored 25 points off 23 Dominican turnovers.
Andre Bennett scored 17 points to lead two players in double figures for the Stars, who shot 47.2 percent (25-for-53) for the game.Â
