MILWAUKEE (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College celebrated Senior Night with a 76-58 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference win over Edgewood on Wednesday in the final regular season home game at the Time of Grace Center.
The Warriors (20-4, 15-2 NACC), who honored their eight seniors during a pregame ceremony, clinched their first 20-win season since 1995-1996 and finished their regular season home slate with a perfect 12-0 record following their wire-to-wire win over the Eagles (8-17, 7-11 NACC).
WLC jumped out to an 8-2 lead over EC, but an 8-2 spurt resulted in a 10-10 score with 15:24 remaining. Wisconsin Lutheran responded with a 17-1 scoring run and a three-pointer from senior
Grayson Goetz (Aurora, Ill.) put the Warriors up by 16 points with 9:26 on the first half clock. Edgewood was unable to come any closer than 13 points and WLC took a 39-26 lead into the locker room behind a double-double of 10 points and 12 rebounds from senior
Ryan Broeckel (Chilton, Wis.) in the opening 20 minutes. Goetz also added 10 first-half points.

Jacob Stoltz (Kewaskum, Wis.) opened the second half with a pair of threes for Wisconsin Lutheran within the first two minutes, pushing the Warriors' lead to 19 and forcing an early timeout by the Eagles. A personal 9-0 run by senior
AJ Vos (Lombard, Ill.) gave WLC a 54-28 advantage with 15:18 remaining in the game. A three-point play from Broeckel extended the lead to a game-high 30 points at 62-32 with 11:34 left. EC answered with an 8-0 scoring, and later trimmed its deficit to 17 with six minutes to play. Wisconsin Lutheran didn't let the visitors get any closer then 15 points down the stretch as the Warriors walked away with the 76-58 victory.
Broeckel was one of five WLC players in double figures, posting his fifth double-double of the season with 18 points and a career-high 21 rebounds. He added five steals, four assists, and three blocks. Stoltz finished with 14 points and a game-high five assists. Goetz and senior
Jacob Hefle (Germantown, Wis.) added 12 points apiece, Vos chipped in 11 points and eight rebounds. Wisconsin Lutheran shot 40.8 percent (29-for-71) from the field in the contest.
Trey Traeder led the way for Edgewood with 18 points, as the Eagles shot 32.7 percent (18-for-55) from the floor.
