Evelyn Martin (Westfield, Ind.) launched two of Wisconsin Lutheran College's school-record five homeruns in game two of a 14-10 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference win over Concordia Chicago on Saturday at Neumann Family Field. The Cougars defeated the Warriors 8-2 in game one as the teams split the home finale doubleheader.
CUC (10-23-1, 6-14 NACC) broke a scoreless opening game in the top of the third inning with an unearned run. WLC (10-24, 6-12 NACC) responded in the bottom half of the inning with a two-out, two-run single from freshman

Julianna Alloy (Harrison Township, Mich.). Concordia Chicago went ahead in the third with three runs on two hits to gain a 5-3 advantage. Back-to-back solo shots from Martin and Anhalt in the bottom of the third evened the contest at 5-5.
The Cougars capitalized on four errors in the fourth inning to plate five runs and double their lead at 10-5. The Warriors loaded the bases with just one out in their half of the fourth before Martin singled to center and Anhalt drew a bases loaded walk to cut the deficit to three. Sophomore
Juliana Sieber (Oconto, Wis.) and Martin scored on a fielder's choice throwing error to make it 10-9, and Powers capped the seven-run frame with a three-run blast to center, her first of the season, for a 12-10 WLC lead. Martin added a pair of insurance runs in the fifth with her second homerun of the game, a two-run shot to left that scored junior

Martin, who tied the program record with 23 career homeruns, went 3-for-3 with four RBI, three runs, and a walk. Powers finished 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs. Six other players added a hit each for Wisconsin Lutheran, which set a program record with five homeruns in a single game. Freshman
