WAUWATOSA, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College battled Lakeland to a 0-0 draw in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference action Wednesday at Warriors Soccer Field.
The Warriors (1-7-3, 0-2-2 NACC) controlled much of the match, outshooting the Muskies 22-5, including a 12-1 advantage in the second half. WLC generated nine shots on goal but couldn't find the back of the net.
Sophomore
Rafael Galindo (Delavan, Wis.) paced Wisconsin Lutheran with six shots, including two on target, while junior
Aydan Scortino (Pewaukee, Wis.) added four shots and freshman
George O'Connor (Chesterton, Ind.) recorded three. Sophomore goalkeeper
Owen Gault (Moline, Ill.) made two saves to secure his first shutout of the season for the Warriors.
LU (4-4-2, 1-2-2 NACC) was limited offensively but saw Dunia Wangu lead the visitors with three shots. Goalkeeper Andrew Davison kept Lakeland in the match with nine saves.
