WAUWATOSA, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College dropped a 6-1 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference decision to MSOE on Wednesday at Hart Park.
The Warriors (1-4, 1-4 NACC) earned their lone point in singles play when sophomore
Amelia Kelley (Appleton, Wis.) defeated Simona Sulimas 6-1, 6-2 at the No. 3 position.
In doubles, Kelley teamed up with freshman
Sophia Schroeder (Tampa, Fla.) for a competitive 7-6 (8-6) tiebreak victory at No. 2 doubles over MSOE's Delaney Premeau and Amelia Segelstrom.
The Raiders (3-9, 3-3 NACC) secured the match with straight-set singles wins at No. 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6, while also claiming victories at No. 1 and 3 doubles.
WLC continues conference play on Saturday when it travels to Chicago, Illinois for a 2 p.m. NACC dual match against Illinois Tech (5-1, 5-0 NACC) at XS Tennis Center.
