MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College dropped a 3-0 decision (25-21, 25-17, 25-16) to three-time defending Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference champion Edgewood on Thursday at Time of Grace Center in its final home match of the regular season.

In the opening set, WLC traded points early and held several slim leads before the Eagles used a 7-1 mid-set surge to pull in front 21-14. Wisconsin Lutheran fought off two set points, but EC closed out the 25-21 win behind efficient .220 hitting.
Edgewood carried its momentum into the second set, breaking open a 15-14 lead with a 10-3 closing run to take a 25-17 victory. The Eagles hit .313 in the frame while holding the Warriors to .059.
The third set saw WLC jump ahead 8-6, highlighted by kills from Biggin, Wigley, and Biesterfeld, before the visitors responded with a decisive 11-1 stretch to regain control and complete the sweep 25-16. EC hit .324 in the final set compared to Wisconsin Lutheran's .111.
Biggin paced the Warriors with a match-high 14 kills and added nine digs, while Wigley tallied nine kills and a team-high 12 digs. Freshman

Brooke Bartelt (Germantown, Wis.) contributed nine digs from the libero position.
Edgewood (22-6, 13-0 NACC) was led by Nida Zukauskaite with 13 kills, while Abbey Eivins recorded 18 assists, and Mia Hinkamper had a match-high 26 digs.
