JACKSON, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College opened its 2025 spring season on Sunday with a 7-0 non-conference loss to Lawrence at Pleasant Valley Tennis & Fitness Club.

Ali Schmidt (Germantown, Wis.) and sophomore
Maddy Olson (Onalaska, Wis.) teamed for their sixth win of the season at No. 1 doubles over the Vikings' Maya Alberts and Sky Shinohara by a score of 7-5. LU picked up the doubles point, however, for the early lead.
Lawrence earned straight set victories at the first three singles positions. Freshman
Tai Mitchell (Elm Grove, Wis.) dropped a back-and-forth three-set match at No. 4 to Tess McGlenn by scores of 6-0, 4-6, 11-9.Â
The Warriors (6-6) are back on the courts one month from today when they host Wartburg (8-6) for a 10:30 a.m. non-conference dual at Pleasant Valley Tennis & Fitness Club.
